This is one of those "what flavor" hobbies. 1st August 2024
Today I visited a friend of mine in a nearby city. It's a tradition for the third year now. I wish I was better prepared to give her a gift. I gave her a few 3D prints, and she was very thankful. I can't help but feel I should have done more. I focus too much on designing and 3D printing pipes. And it would be weird to give her one as a gift. I'm a bit selfish about these. On the other hand, I could try to find out whether there would be an interest for them.
I don't know what to say.
Look how nice it is.
Observations:
- The support material acumulation is crazy, but no regrets.
- This but different could be an awesome lamp. I think.
- There's never really truly enough filament.
- I don't like that some pipes overlap, gives it the cheap AI look. It can definitely used as a feature, but it's clear in this model that it's not intentional.
- It's good to plan for a stand, or even better, have multiple possible standing options. Or just have it crooked. I don't know whether I'm already brave enough to display it like that, let's see.
- Experimentation is very important. (for... something)
